Group Update 11/02/13

The burglary happened this week and we came in to find that all the equipment had been stolen and our sequence were gone too. So we have decided that we are going to focus on re-shooting some of our footage with mats camera and blogging.

Lift and Stairs

My lift and stairs went pretty well I showed it to a few people and try pointed out a few continuity errors for example the lift door opened twice in two different scenes and when the boy was going up the stairs because I cut it from two different angles and he went further back down the stairs than up so I changed both of these scenes, there is only one bit that I think I should changed if I did it again which was when the lift opened I was told the it looks like the boy was coming out of the lift which he wasn't supposed to be. However I think using final cut was fairly easy and getting the hang of editing was easy. 05-02-13 group update

Today we focused on getting the voice over done for one of the scenes that we filmed outside, because the ambient sounds were to loud and Theo didn't speak loud enough, also we began discussing the music we are going to make for the sequence. As Tina is a pianist we're definitely going to use a piano I'm not quite sure what else yet but but I know I need to use diminished chord and half steps and maybe some broken chords. It will probably be in a minor scale and it maybe in 6/8 time.

01-02-13 group update

Today we mainly edited our sequence we began putting it together and finalizing how we want the end sequence to look. It was really useful because now we know which shots we need to film and refilm, also it's given us ideas of other shots and angles we could film.
